Dr. John S. Martello is President and CEO of UMBC Training Centers, LLC., President of Training Enterprises, Inc. and Vice Provost for the Division of Professional Studies.

UMBC’s Division of Professional Studies and Training Centers offer individuals and organizations high-quality, credit and noncredit training, certificate, and degree programs. The combined enterprise enrolls over 10,000 students and professionals annually.

Professional Studies and Training Centers programs are offered on campus, on-line, on-site, at UMBC’s South Campus training facility, and at The Universities at Shady Grove, in Rockville, MD. UMBC Training Centers is located in Columbia, MD.

Dr. Martello is also founder of The Shriver Center, and has been project director on over $90 million in competitive grants from the State of Maryland, the National Science Foundation, the Joseph P Kennedy, Jr Foundation and others.

He is an Affiliate Associate Professor of Psychology, a member of the board of directors of the Society of Psychologists in Management, and a Maryland licensed Psychologist.
