The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree

The curriculum for the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is a well-established program that effectively blends high quality teaching and advanced research with social responsibility. The B.A. degree focuses on an interdisciplinary approach designed for students with an interest in human behavior, social and community services, personality theories, developmental issues and a wide variety of other focus areas. Many students pursuing the B.A. choose to major, minor or earn a certificate in a variety of other disciplines, such as social work, education, biology, pre-law and management science. There is a wealth of opportunities for students earning the B.A. in psychology-from graduate studies in school counseling to a job working in marketing.
