Campus Directions and Parking
Directions to UMBC
From the north: from Interstate 95, take Exit 47B, Catonsville (Route 166), and follow signs to UMBC. Turn left on Hilltop Circle, turn left onto Hilltop Road, and turn right into the Hilltop Parking Lot.
From the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), take Exit 12C ( Wilkens Avenue, west). Turn left on Wilkens Avenue to traffic circle. Follow signs to UMBC. Bear right at Hilltop Road and left into the Hilltop Parking Lot.
From the south: take Interstate 95 to Exit 47B, Catonsville (Route 166); follow signs to UMBC. Turn left on Hilltop Circle, turn left onto Hilltop Road, and turn right into the Hilltop Parking Lot.
Parking
Forum attendees should park in the lot on Hilltop Road. There is no charge for attendees to park in the Hilltop Lot, and no permit is required. Except for meters, parking in other campus lots or roadways requires a permit. Cars without permits parked in campus lots other than Hilltop, or on roadways, will be ticketed by the campus police.
Hilltop Lot is a five minute walk to the Engineering Building. Follow signs to Lecture Hall V.
Parking is also available in metered garages located at Administration Drive, Commons Drive and Walker Avenue. Meters are enforced Monday through Friday for hours posted. Meter fees are $.25 for each 15 minutes, quarters only, maximum time of 5 hours.
