The Office of the Registrar provides
a number of services including transcripts and enrollment
and degree verification to UMBC’s growing alumni
population, employers and other authorized third parties.
Transcript Services
A transcript is a record of your GPA, cumulative earned
credits, and course and grade history at UMBC and degrees
awarded. The transcript also shows courses and examination
credits from other institutions that have been accepted
for transfer credit. For more information about obtaining

Enrollment
Verification
The National Student Clearinghouse is UMBC's authorized
provider of enrollment verification information. If
you have an active myUMBC login and have attended UMBC
within the last eighteen months, you can access the
National Student Clearinghouse directly from myUMBC
by clicking on “Enrollment Verification.”
You will be able to print out historic enrollment data
that you can provide to a third party. If you do not
have an active myUMBC login, but have attended UMBC
in the last eighteen months, you can request this information
by visiting the National
Student Clearinghouse website: www.enrollmentverify.org.
A small fee is associated with this service.
As an additional service, the National
Student Clearinghouse will also provide this information
directly to a third party. You can refer a prospective
employer, insurance provider or other agency to the
National Student Clearinghouse at 703- 742-4200 or www.enrollmentverify.org.
You can also request
an official transcript that will provide an historic
summary of your enrollment, grades, grade point average
and degrees awarded.
Degree
Verfication
The National Student Clearinghouse is UMBC's authorized
provider of degree verification information. Third parties
(prospective employers or other agencies) can verify
the degree(s) that you earned from UMBC by contacting
the National Student Clearinghouse at 703-742-4200 or
by visiting the website: www.degreeverify.org.
Alum can also request a verification of degree by visiting
the same website: www.degreeverify.org.
There is a small fee associated with this service.
You can also request an official transcript

historic summary of your enrollment, grades, grade point
average and degrees awarded.
