My Academic Profile (MAP)

My Academic Profile (MAP) allows you to review your academic records and can assist you with monitoring progress towards completion of general university requirements.

To access MAP, log into myUMBC. Once you have logged in, go to your Academics menu and click on My Academic Profile.

With MAP, you can review your:

Unofficial Transcript: Your courses, grades, semester and cumulative GPAs, and credit totals.

Advising Profile: Undergraduates can view placement test results, foreign language background information, SAT and high school information. Graduate students can view admissions information and graduate admissions test results. In addition, you can review your declared major history and see your current course schedule.

Sortable Course History: The MAP sortable course history allows you to review your UMBC coursework by course acronym and level or grade as well as chronologically. You can also see your full registration history, including courses which were dropped.

Transfer Courses: Review courses which were completed at other institutions or through AP, CLEP or IB examinations and transferred to UMBC. The transfer course list allows you to see UMBC course equivalencies.

Undergraduate Progress Report (UPR): The UPR details your progress towards completion of general university requirements at UMBC. It does not provide information on completion of major, minor or certificate requirements, which should be reviewed with your advisor. UPRs are provided at point of transfer to provide incoming transfer students with information on how coursework from other institutions is being applied at UMBC. For all other students, UPRs are completed during the first semester that you have earned or exceeded 90 credits.

If you have questions regarding your academic information as it appears on MAP, please email records@umbc.edu.
