Services
Transcripts
A transcript is a record of your GPA, cumulative earned
credits, and course and grade history at UMBC. The transcript
also shows courses and examination credits from other
institutions that have been accepted for transfer credit.
Current students may request official copies of their
transcript using myUMBC. Unofficial transcripts may
also be viewed and printed from this site.
Alumni or former students who do not
have myUMBC accounts can obtain transcripts in-person

Enrollment Verification
Students may require verification of their enrollment
and full-time or part-time status for insurance, loans
or a variety of other services and programs. The National
Student Clearinghouse is UMBC’s authorized provider
of enrollment verification information. Through myUMBC,
students can link to the Clearinghouse and print certificates
of enrollment and view enrollment information that may
have been provided to a third party.
Undergraduate
Progress Reports
Undergraduate Progress Reports are completed at key
milestones during a student’s academic career.
These reports outline students’ progress in completing
graduation and general requirements. The milestones
at which they are completed include point of transfer
to UMBC (for transfer students), the first semesters
in which a student completes 60 and 90 credits, and
graduation. Progress Reports are mailed to students
upon completion.
Records Policies
UMBC adheres to a practice of compliance with the Family
Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). As such,
it is the practice of the University to permit students
to inspect their education records, to limit disclosure
to others of personally identifiable information from
education records without student's prior written consent,
and to provide students the opportunity to seek correction
of their education records where appropriate.
