General Information
This training is designed to provide a clear understanding of export control laws and regulations. The modules describe:
- the nature, purpose and scope of the major U.S. export control regulations
- the three major sets of regulations that regulate the export of materials, technology, technical data, and software from the United States
- key terms and concepts critical to understanding U.S. export regulations
- the importantance for researchers in U.S. institutions of higher education to have a core knowledge of U.S. export regulations.

Copies of Training Completion Reports
Once the training module is completed, you may print a copy of your training completion report by logging into CITI (www.citiprogram.org), using your username and password, and clicking the "Print" link under the Completion Reports column in My Courses. It is recommended to take this training every three years or if there any changes made to the regulations.
