History
The fall of 1972 saw the opening of Patapsco Hall. Patapsco's basement was the site of Residential Life's administrative offices until 1982, when the offices were moved to the Hillcrest Building. Patapsco Hall is named for the Patapsco River which flows through Baltimore to the Bay, and supports Maryland's major shipping industry.

Patapsco's large community/meeting room is frequently the site of aerobics and martial arts classes. Patapsco's Quiet Lifestyle Floor is located in Basement South.
