Your Roommate and Assignment
We’ll use your roommate questionnaire and application information to assign your roommate.
When you arrive on campus your Resident Assistant (RA) will assist you and your assigned roommate in completing a Roommate Agreement at the start of the semester. This is a tool to help you and your roommate establish living expectations for the year.
Room assignment information, including your building community, room number, the type of room (double, triple or apartment), and the names and contact information for your roommate(s) is available online, by checking your Housing and Assignment status. This information will NOT be available until a few days before move-in day.
To Move-In You MUST
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE INTO YOUR ROOM WITHOUT MENINGITIS INFORMATION ON FILE AT UNIVERSITY HEALTH SERVICES! We would love to let you move in, but Maryland Law requires that ALL residential students either be vaccinated against meningitis OR sign a waiver indicating that they are not being vaccinated but have been made aware of the option to be vaccinated and the risks associated with meningitis before we can issue you your key.
