Who are we?
We’re a prestigious organization with membership including only 1% of the total campus resident student population and we are composed of students who have shown exceptional leadership through positive contributions to their residential community. NRHH is a national leadership organization recognized at schools around the nation, and is the recognition branch of the national organization NACURH (National Association of College and University Residence Halls).

What do we do?
The purpose of NRHH is to provide recognition for individuals within the residential community who have displayed outstanding service and leadership qualities, as well as exceptional programs and events that promote positive interactions and learning experiences for residents. We participate in organized service projects to benefit the campus and surrounding community and we support dedicated residential leadership, campus participation, and academic success through Of The Month Awards and organization membership.

How do we recognize our campus leaders?
Of The Months (OTMs) are NRHH’s way of recognizing those outstanding contributors to the residential community. Anyone that contributes to on-campus life is eligible to be recognized with an OTM and anyone can submit an OTM. Once the written entry is submitted, the nominations move on to the regional level, and if selected, the nomination can move onto the national level. There are prizes for winners, and it allows free recognition for all the great people and events that impact the UMBC Residence Halls.

Expectations:
NRHH members are expected to submit two monthly OTM nominations, participate in two NRHH organized service projects per semester and attend two meetings a month. You must maintain the minimum GPA and continue to demonstrate exceptional leadership and service-oriented behavior.
