What is Baja SAE?
The SAE sponsored Baja SAE (formerly Mini Baja) project is an international collegiate design competition challenging student teams to design, construct, and test a single passenger off-road vehicle. The competition objective introduces students to a real world engineering environment. To be successful, students must apply classroom theories and concepts while utilizing the necessary social skills required to succeed in a team environment.

Why get involved in Baja SAE?
  • Gain real world design experience.
  • Apply and reinforce classroom theories into real world problems.
  • Build teamwork and social skills.
