University Counseling Services
The University Counseling Services (UCS) exists to offer professional psychological services to UMBC students to enhance their personal growth, enrich their lives, and maximize their ability to function successfully academically. The UCS further strives to contribute to the mental and emotional health of the campus community through consultation, outreach, training and educational programs. All professional services at the UCS are provided or supervised by licensed clinicians. Services include individual counseling, group counseling, and a variety of psycho-educational programming (e.g., time management, stress management, test anxiety, procrastination). Both personal and career concerns can be addressed at the Counseling Service, and all counseling services are free and confidential.
