Refunds for Dropping or Withdrawing from Classes

Summer Session I

Schedule Adjustment Period May 29, 2012- June 1, 2012

During the schedule adjustment period you may drop a course and replace it with another course (SWAP) for the same number of credits, with no financial penalty.

Students can drop courses and receive a refund of 100% of all tuition and fees.

September 6, 2012 - September 12, 2012 (SWAP Period)

Students can drop a course and replace it with another course (SWAP) for the same number of credits, with no financial penalty.

Between September 6, 2012 and September 12, 2012, students dropping a course and not replacing it with another course, will be charged 20% of tuition and fees for the dropped course.

Schedule Adjustment Period   

January 28, 2013 - February 3, 2013

Between January 28, 2013 and February 3, 2013, students can drop courses and receive a refund of 100% of all tuition and fees.

February 4, 2013 - February 8, 2013 (SWAP Period)

Between Febraury 4, 2013 and February 8, 2013 students can drop a course and replace it with another course (SWAP) for the same number of credits, with no financial penalty.

SWAP Example

Add Math 101 (3credits), Drop Math 101 (3 credits) , Add Math 102 (3 credits) - Charged for 3 credits of tution and fees.

Between February 4, 2013 and February 8, 2013, students dropping a course and not replacing it with another course, will be charged 20% of tuition and fees for the dropped course.
