What is SEB?
SEB is the student programming board at UMBC. SEB is funded through student activities fees and its primary focus is to provide high quality programs to UMBC students.
What is a board member?
SEB members act as representatives for the UMBC student body and are employees of the University. A Student Events Board Member (SEBer) is, first and foremost, a student leader. SEB members assist in the planning and implementation of social and educational programs for the UMBC community. SEB members are vital in creating a vibrant campus environment for all students. In addition to working with students and their organizations, SEB members work closely with many departments on campus. SEB is advised by a staff member in the Office of Student Life.
