DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

• B.A. or B.S. in Psychology

-OR-

• A bachelor's degree is a related field with required prerequisite coursework, which includes an introductory course in Psychology; a Social Psychology course; and a Research Methods or Statistics course

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

GREs are strongly recommended. Minimum requirement for the Industrial/Organizational Psychology (IO) program is a 3.0 GPA from an  accredited undergraduate program.

Applicants should follow the application procedures set by UMBC's Graduate School. Students applying for the M.P.S. degree are required to submit the following information:

• UMBC graduate school application (includes personal statement)
• Official transcripts from ALL post-secondary institutions attended
• 3 letters of recommendation

The program also offers a combined B.A./M.P.S. for students currently enrolled in UMBC's undergraduate Psychology program.
