Management of Aging Services
UMBC’s Bachelor of Arts in Management of Aging Services program at The Universities at Shady Grove is an interdisciplinary program that integrates the study of human aging and management content. The program, offered by UMBC’s Erickson School of Aging Studies, prepares leaders by connecting them to “real world” concerns through direct partnerships and experiential learning opportunities. Graduates possess the knowledge base and the essential skills for beginning a career in the aging services sector, for-profit business, non-profit organizations, or government.
Are you caring for an aging loved one? Have you ever faced difficult caregiving situations that leave you wondering what to do? Dr. Bill Thomas, Dr. Judah Ronch and Steve Guerney from the Erickson School at UMBC explore issues related to eldercare in these excerpts from a recent UMBC Wellness in the Workplace workshop.
