Welcome to UMBC at The Universities at Shady Grove!

In collaboration with the University System of Maryland and The Universities at Shady Grove (USG), UMBC offers an opportunity for transfer students to attain their educational goals through various degree programs. UMBC has a strong relationship with Montgomery College and other community colleges, which makes the transfer procedure convenient and efficient.

UMBC offers its Bachelor of Arts in History, Social Work, Psychology and Political Science and a Master in Professional Studies in Geographic Information Systems and Industrial/Organizational Psychology at USG. Our campus is conveniently located at the intersection of Darnestown and Shady Grove Road in Rockville, Maryland.
