Academic Integrity

Standard university policies and procedures apply to all courses offered through Continuing & Professional Studies. Details on these policies are available in the Undergraduate or Graduate catalogs as well as the Division of Student Affairs.

Students are expected to adhere to standards of conduct outlined in several documents available to the UMBC community. The Code of Student Conduct "is intended to outline certain responsibilities and expectations of UMBC students, assist the students to understand their role in the academic community, and to establish procedures that ensure due process in the adjudication of complaints concerning students."  UMBC policies on academic integrity and grading are available in the Student Handbook and in the Faculty Handbook.
