Faculty Appointment Contracts

All full and part-time faculty hired by Continuing & Professional Studies receive a formal contract of employment that includes information necessary to process payment such as name, rank, employee ID, course information, designated paydate and salary.  Contracts must be signed by the instructor and department chair or program director, and returned to the respective CPS office by the designated deadline date.  Contracts not submitted by the deadline date may result in a delay of payroll processing and payment.  Instructor rank and salary is dependent on the hiring CPS office.  For specific rank and salary information please see below.

CPS Professional Program Faculty - Instructors teaching a CPS graduate course for any of the following professional programs during fall, spring, summer or winter sessions: Biotechnology, Engineering Managment, Systems Engineering or Cybersecurity.  The rank and salary for CPS Professional Program Faculty is determined by the program director.

Special Sessions Faculty - Instructors teaching a department sponsored course offered during summer or winter sessions.
