Campus Parking for Faculty
Parking permits are now required year-round on campus. Faculty parking on campus are therefore required to do one of the following:
- Have a valid parking permit to park on campus
- Pay a parking meter
- Obtain $2.00 daily parking permits from Parking Services
Faculty who teach after 3:30 can also park for $.50 at a gated lot (see below).
Additional UMBC parking permits information
Permits: A current valid UMBC permit must be displayed on a vehicle parked in any non-metered space and the vehicle must be registered with Parking Services. Campus roadways and lots require display of a UMBC permit Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Permits are enforced year round. Parking on lots is restricted by on-site signage. Faculty, staff and students may also park on roadways with valid UMBC permits.
Gated lots are restricted to faculty/staff with gated permits from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Parking is available after 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and all day during weekends in gated Lots 10, 16/9A and 2 for a $.50 fee, quarters only.
University of Maryland College Park Faculty: UM College Park faculty permits are honored at UMBC. You may park on roadways and in non-gated faculty lots.
