Workshops

During the 2007-2008 academic year, the Student Support Services Department will present a variety of workshops that will address the scholastic needs and/or concerns of the SSS participants. Each SSS participant is required to attend workshops during the academic year. You may choose which workshops, as long as you fulfill the following requirements:

First year participants must attend four (4) workshops.
Second year participants must attend three (3) workshops.
Third year participants must attend two (2) workshops.

Fourth year participants are exempt from the workshop attendance requirement but are welcome to attend those of their choice.

When and Where
The workshops are held on Wednesdays, 12:00-12:50 p.m., in the Academic IV Building, B-Wing, Room 354, unless otherwise indicated.
Call the SSS Office at x3250 for a workshop brochure, for more information and/or to register for workshops. You may fulfill your workshop requirement by attending other workshops sponsored by other UMBC departments. Verification of attendance and a copy of the handout(s) must accompany your request for workshop credit.
