Positions available for Summer and Fall 2008

The Office of Student Life is excited to announce an array of job, service and leadership opportunities available to students. These positions vary from responsibilities to purpose and beyond.  Select a specific position to learn more about it or read through the listing to get a full view of the many opportunities. 

Available Positions:

 

Involvement Peer or 2nd Floor Office Assistant

Position Description:

The Involvement Peers serve as a resource and conduit for anyone looking to get connected to campus life.  Involvement Peers have their hands in outreach programs, service projects, and are available to help all student organizations. Involvement Peers keep the Student Involvement Center in Commons 2B24 running.   

Office Assistants who work on the 2nd floor of The Commons serve as the primary information givers for the student organizations area.  Duties include: supporting SGA and student organizations, responding to email and phone inquiries, managing mail distribution, and helping to support the Office of Student Life staff.

Office Assistant, Office of Student Life/The Commons

Position Description:

The Office Assistant directly reports to the Office Supervisor in the Office of Student Life. Office Assistants serve as the primary greeter for the Office of Student Life and The Commons. Duties include: greeting guests, answering phones, performing clerical office work, and other duties that will assist staff in the operation of the Office of Student Life and The Commons.
