- OSL Info Mailing List
All organization officers and advisors are added to the oslinfo mailing list at the conclusion of the annual registration period. The oslinfo mailing list is the primary means by which important announcements pertaining to Involvement Fest, event planning, and financial allocation processes among others are distributed. OSL strongly encourages all student leaders to remain subscribed to this mailing list and to monitor messages received via its distribution.

- Audio-Visual Services
Audio-Visual Services is responsible for providing technical support to campus classrooms. Support for your event within a classroom space is available on a limited basis. There is no A/V support in classrooms during the evening and weekend hours. All arrangements with AV Services must be made at least ten business days in advance.

Student Work Force
Student Work Force provides set-up support for events outside of the University Center and The Commons. They do not provide any technical or audio visual equipment or service. Requests for Student Work Force must be made at least ten business days in advance.

Cabinet & Mailbox Allocation
All recognized student organizations are eligible to apply for a mailbox and cabinet allocation each academic year. The application process is announced via the oslinfo mailing list during the spring semester and assignments are made for the subsequent academic year. For example, May 2008 for the 2008-2009 academic year. Allocations are valid for one academic year. All organizations must re-apply for allocated space annually.
Involvement Fest
All recognized student organizations are invited to participate in Involvement Fest, the premier student organizations fairs that take place at the beginning of each semester. Information about the registration process is announced via the oslinfo mailing list. For more information, contact the Office of Student Life at osl@umbc.edu.
The Retriever Black and Gold Awards
Each May, there is a chance to celebrate and publicly recognize the contributions and achievements of outstanding student leaders and student organizations through the Retriever Black and Gold Awards. Information about the application process is announced via the oslinfo mailing list, as in also available on the Office of Student Life website. All student leaders are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals and organizations for this recognition.
