The Mosaic is dedicated to the creation, fostering, and supporting of cross-cultural education and collaboration on the UMBC campus. This occurs in a wide variety of ways.
The Mosaic: Culture and Diversity Center opened in late fall 2003 and was officially dedicated on February 2, 2004 where a host of Faculty, Staff and Students joined our President, Dr. Freeman Hrabowski for a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Mosaic is a center committed to empowering all members of the campus community to be culturally conscious and aware members of their community. The Mosaic Center is the birthplace of ideas, programs, and curriculum that celebrates cultural diversity and equality.
