The Lambda Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc was chartered on Nov 12, 1977 on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County by 15 dedicated women. Iota Lambda Omega is the Lambda Phi Chapter's Graduate Chapter with E. Marie Johnson as the First Graduate Advisor. Perpetuating the goals and ideals of the Sorority, these hardworking young women were prepared to embark upon a future of service, education, leadership, and scholarship. With service to all mankind and education as a major priority, these young ladies reached out to the community, impacting the lives of many inner city youths and adults. |
