Make sure you've registered for the mailing list as we use it to send out important updates.

We have an e-mail list to share information about schedule/room updates, outings, and other Club and dancing related events. Emails are usually sent no more than once a week. If you are interested in joining the list, please send an e-mail to UMBCBallroom@gmail.com or visit http://lists.umbc.edu. Users do not need am e-mail address affiliated with UMBC to create an account. Any e-mail address can be used to sign up or remove one's self from the e-mail list.

Alternatively, to subscribe or to unsubscribe from the ballroom listrpoc, you can use the list management tools in the Communications section of myUMBC if you're a UMBC student.

Directions

 

To the Main UMBC Campus:
1000 Hilltop Circle Baltimore, MD 21250

From the north, take Interstate 95 to Route 166 (Exit 47B, Catonsville) or take Interstate 83 to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695, west) and then take Exit 12C (Wilkens Avenue, west); follow the signs to UMBC.

From the south, take Interstate 95 to Route 166 (Exit 47B, Catonsville); follow signs to UMBC.

 

For on-campus directions to the University Center or to the RAC Fitness Studio, click on this UMBC Campus map link .

  • The UC Ballroom is on the top floor of The University Center (UC): building 34, in grid B2 of the campus map. The UC located between the Chemistry building and the Academic IV building.
  • The Fitness Studio is on the main floor of The Recreational and Athletics Facility (RAC): building 31, also in grid B2 of the campus map. Please note you have to show some form of ID to enter that facility.
  • The Commons Mainstreet is located inside The Commons (building 12, grid B2) across from the Bookstore, not far from the building's front desk.

 

Parking:
If you are not from UMBC and do not have a parking permit, the best parking for the Monday classes is the gated lots 9a and 16. (Refer to the UMBC Campus map .) There are also gated sections of the Adminstration Drive Garage and lot 2. After 3:30, it costs 50 cents to park in these gated lots. For those in the Sunday class, you may park in any marked parking space, free of charge.
