Black Student Orientation

The Black Student Orientation program is an initiative to make the transition from high school to college as smooth as possible. The format for this program is an open discussion forum where members of BSU, ASA, CASA and other student organization are put on a panel to educate the incoming Freshmen on the "Do's and Don'ts" of college. The new students also get to meet other Freshmen as well as Upperclassmen who are from the same hometown or have the same major, thus allowing them to have a few familiar faces when they start school in the Fall. The overnight Orientation Program also provides discussions, snacks, games, and various social activities.
