Voices is the BSU's newsletter. Every semester, we publish one or more issues of Voices in order to inform the Black community at UMBC about pertinent issues affecting Black people on campus, in the Baltimore-Washington area and throughout the world. In adidtion, Voices provides Black students an outlet to voice their opinions on local and world events as well as express their creativity through poems, comic strips, short stories, and other narratives written from the African-American perspective.
Currently, Voices is in need of writers, poets and editors. If you have the skills and a willingness to help inform the UMBC community about issues of importance to the Black community, join us. Thank you for your time and continued support.
