Linear Order of All Players and Alternates from Entire Delegation (Intercollegiate only)
Before Round 1, each delegation is required to list all players and alternates (from all teams together) in seating order by decreasing FIDE ratings (or equivalent). Unrated players may be listed anywhere. Players whose ratings differ by at most 50 points may be transposed in this order, but once the order is submitted, it cannot be changed. Within each team, for each match, the four people playing must sit strictly according to this order. If needed, players from lower teams may be promoted to higher teams, but players so promoted cannot later play again for any lower team during this event.
