When use an on-campus phone, you only need
to dial the last four digits of another on-campus phone number (for example,
x2114). For off campus calls, you need to dial 9 first.

you set up new telephone service, if you are unable to establish credit with
Verizon (for example, a new student without credit history), a deposit may
be required. If you pay your bill in a timely manner (normally, 12 months
for residential service), then your deposit plus interest will be credited
to your account.
