The goal of the UMBC Fencing Club is to create a warm and friendly environment conducive to introducing the art of fencing to any and all who wish to join, and to promote the competitive sport of intercollegiate fencing.

We are a part of the Baltimore-Washington Collegiate Fencing Conference (BWCFC) and participate in competitions among college fencing clubs in the region. The conference usually holds two meets per year, one during the fall and one during the spring semester, plus a championship event that takes place later in the spring.

| Tuesdays | 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm |
| Thursdays | 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm |
| Saturdays | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm |
The club meets in the RAC Fitness Studio (located toward the end of the Cardio Balcony)
| For the practices, a t-shirt and long sweats are ideal. Pants with a lot of pockets or low flexibility will make it difficult/dangerous to fence. There is a water fountain, but bringing waterbottles is always good. We also recommend that you please show up about ten minutes before-hand to stretch, etc. |
