On Sunday March 8th, UMBC Habitat for
Humanity will be having its inaugural 5K run to help raise money for our
Spring Break Trip. We will be
running around the inner sidewalk of Hilltop Circle (a little less than
twice around). We will start the
race at 3pm at the ITE
Building. There will be prizes for the fastest time
and most money raised.
If you would like to run, I will have pledge
forms for you so you can go out and ask friends and family to sponsor your
run. There will be a minimum
sponsorship of $5 total. You can print
out a form on this page.
We will also need a few people to do
timekeeping for runners.
If you are going on the Spring Break Trip,
80% of the money you raise will go towards a refund of the trip fee. The other 20% will go to paying the remainder
of fees that Habitat must pay.
