Welcome!

Welcome to the website of the UMBC Inter-Fraternity Council, the governing body of the seven social fraternities at UMBC. We work with the members of the Greek Presidents' Council, the Pan Hellenic Association, the National Pan Hellenic Conference, and the Multi-Cultural Greek Council in an effort to continue to strengthen the wider Greek and University community through progressive policies, programs and education. The six fraternities that make up the Inter-Fraternity Council are:

• ΦΚΣ - Phi Kappa Sigma
• ΠΚΦ - Pi Kappa Phi - Eta Phi
• ΤΚΕ - Tau Kappa Epsilon - Upsilon Theta

As an institution, UMBC is devoted to and focused on developing intelligent students who will go on to become successful people and professionals. The Interfraternity Council is dedicated to the mission of the University, our goal is to help develop our leadership and social skills so that we are the UMBC community's most exceptional students.

With a total active and growing membership of about 200 men, each fraternity has many different things to offer you, but one thing is for certain: we are all dedicated to offering you the best opportunity to meet new people, forming long lasting friendships, developing extraordinary leadership skills and teaching you effective study habits.
During the first month of the semester, you may see many of the fraternities setting up information tables and as well as hosting events for you to attend. We hope you will take advantage of these opportunities to meet us in the coming weeks.
