Father Patrick entered St. Mary’s Seminary in
Baltimore in 2000 and wasordained in 2006. His first assignment was as an
associate pastor inwestern Maryland. He and two other priests worked as a
team responsiblefor seven parishes. During that time he did a lot of work
in the prisons. He was later reassigned to Baltimore in January 2009 as
director of thenew House of Discernment and as associate vocations
director for the archdiocese. Prior to seminary, he worked with the
homeless for Catholic Charities. He got a masters in pastoral counseling
and worked in a psychiatric clinic for three years. While in seminary, he
attended a summer graduate program at Creighton University in Omaha, NE in
Christian spirituality. He grew up in Glen Burnie and graduated from Old
Mill High School.
