Ruz, Nauroz, Nav-roze, Navroz, Naw-Rúz, Nevruz, Наврӯз,

holiday in Iran, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, India, Turkey,
Zanzibar, Albania, Georgia, various countries of Central
Asia such as Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan,

As well as being a Zoroastrian holiday, it is also a holy
day for adherents of Sufism as well as Bahá'í Faith [2]. It
is also referred to as Eid. For Isma'ilis Navroz celebrates
the birthday of Ali (Ali Ibn Talib), and is also celebrated
as the new year festival due to the group being of Persian
origin.
