 We are proud to welcome our new Executive Board for the upcoming academic year! Congratulations Adam, Nathan, Fuad, James, and Caitlyn! Upcoming Events: Come join the UMBC College Republicans October 17 at 8:00PM in Lecture Hall 1 as we host the premiere of "Not Evil Just Wrong", a feature length documentary by filmmakers Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer. The documentary attacks and debunks Global Warming hysteria, exposing the adverse effects extreme environmentalism has on our society. Hot (pun intended!) topic issues include everything from the use and ban on DDT to the current Global Warming campaigns. The documentary is premiering on Sunday night, attempting to break a World Record for largest simultaneous premiere. This event is open to everyone. Bring your friends, family and anyone wanting a second opinion on the matter! For those of you unfamiliar with UMBC's campus, LH1 is located in the small one story building situated between the Commons and the Quad/swimming pools. Once on campus, continue around Hilltop Circle until you reach Library Drive. There will be a parking garage on your left. For more information visit our facebook event page. Past Events: Thanks to those who attended YLS training on July 25th/26th and August 10th/11th. UMBC was well represented! Thanks to all who attended the Maryland GOP Spring Convention. Fun was had by all. The MFCR Convention was an 'epic win.' We would like to thank everyone who participated this year! CPAC was a success. We would like to thank Steve Whisler once again for his generous donation and the members of the PVRC for all the support we received! Our Chapter looks forward to expanding its cooperative endeavors with the MFCR and other Republican organizations in Greater Baltimore and across Maryland. |
