In the Fall of 2007, posters began popping up around campus asking "Love to Sing?" These posters caught the eye of a dozen girls who gathered in the Commons one afternoon and auditioned for Christine, the mastermind behind forming the new all female a-cappella group. A few weeks later, the bonding among members began, and the group was titled 'The Stilettos'.
Rehearsals kicked off in the Spring of 2008, starting with "Time of the Season" and "All You Wanted." After weeks of hard work (and fun of course!) The Stilettos made their soft debut at an event held by MSA and made their large debut at Acapocalypse.
In the Fall of 2008, The Stilettos were determined to surpass the other short lived all female a-cappella groups that had tried to survive on campus. Momentum picked up in the Spring of 2009 and in Spring 2010, The Stilettos held their very first concert: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!
The group continues to sing their hearts out and add more songs to their repertoire!
