As the Fall 2009 semester approaches, so too does the return of Tea Empire!

Firstly, an introduction. I'm Kevin K., and I'll be Team Empire's webmaster for the year. Greetings and salutations!

Tea Empire will have a table at Involvement Fest Wednesday, September 2nd. Come out and support the club!

Our first official meeting will be the following Wednesday, September 9th, a presentation on the health benefits of tea. Be there for officer introductions, your fellow members, and some fantastic peppermint, green, and chamomile teas! The meeting will take place in The Commons room 329 at 8PM.

Don't forget your mug!

We had a nice time for those of us that could make it. I'm oh so very glas you all like the tea and food delights that I had to offer.

I posted the recipes on the recipes page for those wishing to make the delightful food for themselves.

For those wishing to know where I buy my teas, they come from this delightful place, The Little Tea Pot. It's a quant little shop on the grounds of Montpelier Mansion in Laurel, MD right off the B/W Parkway. A few of us tea goers took a tea trip there last semester. They both sell and serve tea!

We all had a lovely time at The Little Teapot! We drank good tea, learned a lot about the sale of tea from owner Valerie. We then walked the grounds of Montpelier Mansion and took a quick stroll through the art center. It was fun and hopefully we'll be scheduling this trip again in the fall!
