The language of this class is English, however, some Korean terms are 
frequently used. The terms for the most common techniques are listed 
below for reference.  The majority of the time, the English term will 
be used, but we feel that an important flavor of the art is lost if 
only English is used.

Please remember that, like English, Korean has many words that describe 
the same thing (synonyms), so occasionally your instructor may use a 
Korean word for a technique that is not part of the list below.
