Financial Aid

  • Available to eligible UMBC students with a 2011/2012 FAFSA on file
  • Students must submit a summer financial aid application to be considered for any type of aid for summer 2012
  • Applications must be received no later than May 4th to have aid evaluated by the first billing due date in June
  • Applications submitted after May 4th will be reviewed within the stated turnaround time (typically 3 - 4 weeks)
  • The last date to submit an application for summer aid is June 29th
  • Complete the Federal Stafford and/or Plus loan applications by May 4 if not already on file
    Students must be enrolled in at least six (6) credits to be eligible for loans
