Summer Session 2013

SUMMER SESSION HOUSING

UMBC Residential Life offers apartment-style housing for students taking summer classes.

Typical apartment configuration includes four single bedrooms with a shared bathroom, kitchen and living room/dining room area. Apartments are fully furnished.  While every apartment is equipped with a kitchen, summer meal plans are also available as an option.

Students are matched with roommates with similar course dates. For instance, students in the 6-week session are housed together.  We also use the preferences students indicate in the on-line housing application to match students together.

Apartments are located close to classrooms and the dining hall for a convenient living option during the summer.  Residential Life Community Directors and Resident Assistants provide support to students during the summer session.

  • Visiting Students - Students from other institutions will find a warm welcome with our convenient apartment options.

  • UMBC Students - Students continuing their education during the summer months will also find our on-campus apartments a convenient and economical option to enhance the summer school experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus!
