The Sixteenth Annual CNMS Summer Undergraduate Research Fest (SURF)

The College of Natural & Mathematical Sciences announces the sixteenth annual Summer Undergraduate Research Fest (SURF). This professional symposium for undergraduates will showcase UMBC students and visiting students who conducted research with UMBC mentors and programs in summer 2013.

The event features two student poster sessions and a printed abstract book of student research as well as oral presentations by select students.

SURF SCHEDULE

UMBC Albin O. Kuhn Library – Seventh Floor

POSTER SET UP and PRESENTER CHECK IN - Begins at 8:30 a.m.

INTRODUCTION and ORAL PRESENTATIONS – 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS – 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon

              Poster Session 1 - 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

              Poster Session 2 - 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 Noon

MENTOR RECOGNITION AND CLOSING - 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.
