One day on Mars, two men from NASA named Corey Ravenport and Jack Daniels were walking around on Mars taking samples of the terrain to take back to Earth with them, so NASA can figure out if Mars can support human life. Corey is a 26 year old male who is training for a new job at NASA. Jack Daniels is a 38 year old male who is captain of all voyages in space. Anyone at NASA would die to have this job and that's exactly what happened. All of a sudden, Jack turned around and Corey was dead! Jack called the police on an emergency telephone that was in his backpack that was full of samples of terrain from Mars. The space homicide detective from NASA came right away and with him followed the space crime scene investigators. Jim Brass, the space homicide detective, went over to Jack and questioned him about Corey's unexpected death on Mars. Jack answered all the questions calmly. As Jim questioned the suspect, Nick Stokes, Gil Grissom, Warrick Brown, Sarah Sidles, and Catherine Willows (NASA crime scene investigators) took pictures of Corey's corpse and the terrain around him. They also collected evidence that they found near Corey's corpse. The only one piece of evidence that was retrieved was a pair of scissors. They took the evidence back to the space shuttle that they used to get to Mars and examined it for fingerprints, fibers, hair, and blood. Then, they carried the corpse to the shuttle, so April May and Sunny Tagliaferro (the space pathologists) can perform an autopsy on it and determine the cause of Corey's unexpected death. As the investigators and pathologists got to work on the scene, Jim was finished asking Jack questions. Jim told Jack that he could go back to his space shuttle, but he couldn't leave Mars and Jack agreed. Jim went back to the crime scene investigator's shuttle and told them that Jack told him that the victim and some man named Joseph Talbot weren't on the best of terms with each other and that he is a primary suspect because he in fact is on Mars also training for some new job at NASA. But, Jack didn't know what job. So, Mr. Grissom, Mr. Stokes, and Ms. Willows went to check out this Joseph Talbot and find out where he was during the time of the murder. Mr. Brown and Ms. Sidles stayed behind to examine the evidence collected at the crime scene. Mr. Grissom, Mr. Stokes, and Ms. Willows found the space shuttle that Joseph Talbot was occupying. They knocked on the door and some woman answered the door. Mr. Stokes asked the woman who she was and she said that her name was Sarah Fergenson and that she was Joseph's new girlfriend. She was a 25 year old woman. They asked if they can come in and ask Joseph some questions and she let them come in. In the living room, stood Joseph Talbot. He was a tall 24 year old male who worked at NASA also. Mr. Grissom questioned the suspect and while he was doing that Ms. Willows was questioning Ms. Fergenson and Mr. Stokes looked around the shuttle to find any clues that linked Joseph Talbot to the murder of Corey Ravenport. Sarah Fergenson told Grissom that Joseph was with her the whole day except when he went to collect samples of terrain from Mars. After a few hours, they were finished at the shuttle and they left to see if Warrick and Sarah found any evidence on the pair of scissors found at the crime scene. When they arrived, Warrick and Sarah were waiting for them at the front door. Warrick and Sarah told them that the only thing found on the scissors was a fiber of asbestos which is found on pipes linking an oxygen tank to a space helmet. So, all of them decided to go see April and Sunny to see how Corey Ravenport died. They went to the space shuttle where the space morgue was located. April and Sunny said that at first Corey was suffocated and then he was hit with a blunt object on his head, torso, arms, and legs. They said he suffered severe trauma to his head, torso, arms, and legs and that is how Corey died. Then, Nick concluded that the only evidence found at the crime scene was a pair of scissors, but no blunt object. He also stated that if Corey was suffocated first, then the killer took the scissors and cut the pipe that supplied oxygen to his helmet. Everybody agreed and they decided to go back to the crime scene and see if they can find a blunt object. Sarah and Nick went back to the crime scene and the rest stayed behind. After a few hours of searching for evidence, Sarah found a wrench with cracked glass around it and blood was on the top of the wrench. They bagged the wrench and glass and took it back to their space shuttle, so Grissom can examine it for fingerprints. When they arrived at the space shuttle, they went to see April and Sunny first so they can see if the wrench was the blunt object that Corey was hit with. April examined the wrench and placed the top of the wrench on Corey's head and it matched the dent left in Corey's head from the murder. So, Sarah and Nick took the wrench to Grissom and told him that it matched the dent on Corey's head and for him to examine the wrench for fingerprints. So, Grissom got out a microscope and checked the evidence for fingerprints, but none were found. They were at a dead end and didn't know what else to do! But, then Nick told Grissom to examine the glass and the glass of Corey's helmet for fingerprints. So, Grissom told Warrick to examine the glass and he did just so.

And to Warrick's
advantage he found one single fingerprint (which is the one seen above).
He determined that it was a print of a left thumb. He told his collages
the good news and they decided to take a left thumb print of Corey to make
sure it wasn't his fingerprint. They also went to Jack's space shuttle
to take a left thumb print from him since he was with Corey at the time
of the murder and because he was a primary suspect. After they got the
print from Jack, they went to Joseph's space shuttle and got a fingerprint
from him.

They took
the prints back to the lab to examine them (which are the ones seen above),
After examining the prints, they found Corey's killer! Can you guess who
