ADMISSIONS

All prospective theatre students offered admission to the university, enter directly through the B.A. program pursuing either the B.A. in Theatre Studies or the B.A. in Design and Production. Upon successful completion of the first semester of study, interested students may pursue selective admission to the B.F.A in Acting a more intensive performance program. Students interested in learning more about these options are encouraged to contact the department. The best way to learn about our program is to come to campus, visit classes and see our theatre productions. We welcome you into any classes with advance notice. Students wishing to apply for Linehan Artist Scholarships and Fine Arts Awards are required to audition or present a portfolio. During the Audition and Interview Day, the theatre faculty will assess each candidate's artistic merit. The day includes tours of our state-of-the-art Performing Arts and Humanities Building, and plenty of interaction with our students and faculty.
