UMBC Theatre has long utilized capable students to design aspects of our productions. This Spring (2011) Andrew Porter designed
the sound and William D'Eugenio designed the light for Grrl Parts, our annual production that showcases new writing centered on
strong roles from young women. William D'Eugenio also Co-designed The Imaginary Autopsee with his faculty mentor Terry Cobb.
Jessica Baker and Jessie Poole have received Undergraduate Research Awards for 2011. Lynn Watson is their mentor.
Ricky Howard has an internship this summer with Maryland Public Television.
Kevin James has been awarded an internship next year at Center Stage.
Christina Martin has been invited to join Phi Beta Kappa.
Laura Bussolini has been invited to join Phi Beta Kappa.
Erin Tarpley has been invited to join Phi Beta Kappa.
Ricky Howard named a McNair Scholar.
