Kiss Kiss: An Evening of Magical Realism
The Frog Prince by David Mamet and The Winged Man by José Rivera
Directed by Eve Muson
Set/Costume Design: Elena Zlotescu
Light/Sound Design: Enoch Chan
The Department of Theatre presents Kiss Kiss: An Evening of Magical Realism, featuring The Frog Prince by David Mamet and The Winged Man by
José Rivera, directed by Eve Muson. These two visually arresting and poetic plays ruminate on the nature of beauty, faith and fidelity, asking
what it means to hold onto your beliefs, and what it takes to let them go. In The Frog Prince, David Mamet spins a comic tale of an arrogant
prince serving time as an amphibian. In Academy Award nominee José Rivera's The Winged Man the only thing we know for certain is that Daysi
is pregant. Was the baby conceived with the mystical "Winged Man," as she insists?
The production features scenery and costume design by Elena Zlotescu, and lighting and sound design by Enoch Chan.
