Echocardiograph Technician
Full Time and Per Diem

Good Samaritan Hospital, a community teaching hospital in NE Baltimore, is currently seeking a full time Echo Tech. Position is Monday – Friday, some Saturdays, some holidays required and must take call.  The Per Diem (as needed) position is mostly Saturdays, some holidays and some on-call as needed.

Requirements:  Six months experience in echocardiography.  Current registry or registry-eligible in echocardiography (R.D.C.S.) preferred.

Ultrasound Technologist

Department/Unit: Radiology

Hours/Shift: Full-time; Monday – Friday, days, 8:00AM-4:30PM, Week and weekend call, some holidays

Education: Graduate of Accredited Ultrasound School or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) credential.

Other: Current BLS Healthcare Provider.  Cross training in vascular ultrasound or willing to become credentialed in vascular ultrasound within one year.

Physical Requirement: Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

Certified Ultrasound Technologist

State-of-the-art outpatient imaging facility in Virginia is seeking an RDMS certified Ultrasound Technologist. Each technologist is performing 10-14 cases per day in procedures such as pelvic, transvaginal, abdomen, OB/Gyn, renal and liver doppler. They are also performing an extensive amount of DVT's (deep vein thrombosis). There are currently 70 FTE's and this position will report to the Manager for Ultrasound, Nursing and Diagnostic Imaging.

The ideal candidate will have several years experience and an RVT is preferred for the position. The center hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. This is a no call and no weekend position. Full benefits are being offered and initial income will be commensurate upon experience.
