Program Coordinator
UMBC Training Centers, a leading provider of scientific, technical and professional training, is seeking to hire the next team warrior to join our Job Rotation Program in Columbia, Maryland.
Become part of the new generation of highly qualified, high performing individuals who will take part in a Job Rotation Program. This program will provide you with the opportunity to rotate through three departments – Sales, Marketing, and Operations - over a period of two years.
- Support the Sales and Marketing team:
- In attaining their monthly and annual sales targets, by working with teammates and partners to define and execute the organizations’ sales and marketing strategies, initiatives and tasks.
- In assuring focused and productive communication with new and existing clients, our external marketing agency and our sales team.
- In multiple administrative functions essential for everyday operation of the sales and marketing team.
- Support the Operations team:
- To ensure that the Training Centers' classrooms are prepared to successfully deliver training to our individual and corporate customers. This includes ongoing interaction with internal stakeholders, business partners, vendors, instructors and students.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Systems or Computer Science
- Confident with MS Office skills
- Digital/technology aptitude/proficiency
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed
- Willing to work until the work is done, not the day is done
- Able to work in a high functioning team environment, while maintaining focus and perspective in a busy, time critical production environment.
- High energy and resilience, excellent problem solving skills with the ability to project calmness and confidence.
- Superior customer relationship skills, coupled with strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
- Passionate, hard worker and well organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent polite and persuasive communication skills
- Initiative (self-starter) and accountability
- Perceptive and analytical, good with metrics and numbers

Instructors
We are looking for excellent instructors to join our faculty. Most positions are part time and can accommodate a variety of schedules, including weekday, evenings and weekends. Some positions provide opportunities to travel although most of our programs are delivered locally.
Currently, we are seeking TS/SCI cleared and uncleared instructors in the following program areas:
- Cybersecurity
- Project Management
- Systems Engineering

Instructional Designers and Developers
UMBC Training Centers is seeking TS/SCI cleared and uncleared instructional systems designers and developers to design, develop and implement a variety of classroom-based and online learning solutions for our students and corporate and government customers.
Applicants must have expertise with the ADDIE model, 3+ years of instructional design experience, and a commitment to excellence in developing high quality learning solutions.
