Enterprise Training Program (ETP)

Overview

UMBC Training Centers provides organizations with discounts to send their employees to our open enrollment training programs through the Enterprise Training Program (ETP). The purpose of this program is to:

• Improve individual and organizational performance through high quality workforce training;
• Promote Training Centers’ program offerings within enterprise level organizations in the region;
• Collect feedback from industry to help shape future program offerings and improve program quality.

Description

The Enterprise Training Program establishes a basis for organizations to utilize the services of Training Centers and provides the organization with discounted training rates and other benefits in return for certain minimal obligations as defined in the Program Requirements section of this document. The agreement does not obligate the organization in any way to utilize the services of UMBC Training Centers or preclude the organization from using the services of any other training providers. This Program can be terminated by either party at any time.

Benefits

Participating organizations receive the following benefits:

• Discounted tuition for all employees of the organization for open enrollment training courses (except Ed2Go online courses and the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program);
• A designated point of contact for individual student program inquiries and registrations;
• A customized registration process for open enrollment courses, if needed;
• A designated point of contact for group training courses;
• Corporate payment terms such as the acceptance of purchase orders and support of tuition reimbursement policies.
• Quarterly visits by UMBC Training Centers to promote programs within your organization.

Program Requirements

Participating organizations are required to meet the following requirements:

• Agreement to receive communications about training programs which are relevant to the organization. These communications can be either in the form of printed materials or electronic communications.
• Agreement to distribute Training Centers’ program information as deemed relevant within the organization.
• Agreement to participate in an annual workforce training survey to collect data to help shape future training programs and related services.

Open Enrollment Training

Training Centers will provide the Client with an Enterprise Training Program reference number for individual employees to use when registering for open enrollment classes. It is the responsibility of the Client to disseminate the Enterprise Training Program reference number to its employees. Employees who enter the ETP# on their registration forms will receive a 5% discount on tuition.

Group Training

Training Centers will assign a dedicated Account Manager to the Client to help define their workforce development needs and work with the client to define and deliver courses and workshops which address those needs. Specific courses will be defined and scheduled on an as needed basis.
