Art McCombs -  PHR/SPHR 

Art is the Senior Director of the Homewood Human Resources Division of Johns Hopkins University. He holds a BA with Honors in Political Science (Government) from The College of Wooster (Ohio) and an MA in Educational Administration from Columbia University. He holds the following professional certifications:

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Certified as a Diversity Trainer from SHRM.

Certified in Employee & Labor Relations from The School of Industrial & Labor Relations of Cornell University. Certified as a Human Capital Strategist (HCS) from the Human Capital Institute, HCI is the global association for talent management and new economy leadership, and a clearinghouse for best practices and new ideas.

He has over twenty five years of human resource management experience as a staff specialist, trainer, manager, external consultant and executive, representing the healthcare and higher education fields. His primary areas of professional expertise are employee/labor relations, recruitment, human resources strategy, managing diversity and performance metrics. Art taught human resource management on the graduate level at Johns Hopkins University and since 1998 teaches in the Professional Human Resource Management Program (PHRM) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Jack Moran -  PHR/SPHR

Jack Moran, SPHR, Ed.S, MBA, MA has been an adjunct faculty member at numerous universities for over 30 years. Originally, Jack's focus was on business-related courses such as Corporate Finance, International Marketing, Management Theory and Practices, and Business Mathematics. Beginning in 2000, he shifted to exclusively HR courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional development levels. His courses have included graduate level Introduction to HR and a Capstone Thesis course, upper level undergraduate coursework in Organizational Development and Advanced HR Theory, and the SHRM Learning System which prepares HR careerists for professional certification as an SPHR or PHR. Jack has presented HR classes for HR Departments at NASA, MASDAQ, and SAIC.

Jack completed a 22-year career as an Army Officer in 1991, primarily in the fields of Personnel and Financial Management. He has an undergraduate degree in Economics, and advanced degrees in Business Administration, International Affairs, and Human Resource Development.
